Los Altos Contemporary Manor

This home was conceived to have an elegant composition using 4 materials to define the volumetric hierarchy. A combination of wood, stone, metal, and plaster, delivers a unique style to this three-level home, two stories above ground and a full basement below. The house is nestled in a lush landscape design that ties in both streets of this large corner lot. A split-face stone marks the center of the main facade, bringing a solid base that supports the vaulted entrance. Also, the wood board siding dominates the second story as it softens the transition between the stone and the dark metal element of the roof.

The clean lines of this design are brought out in the geometric reveal embedded in the smooth exterior stucco. The backyard hosts a 60 ft swimming pool that spans the house from east to west, with outdoor living areas, creating a visual oasis from every part of the home.

This innovative architectural gem will soon be finished to form part of the lovely neighborhood of Los Altos.
